Heads up! The footings and foundation are nearly finished. They will pour the foundations later today and possibly begin framing in a week or so. Can’t get too excited though, there is soooo much to be done out there. Retaining walls, new sewage plant under the circle in the driveway so that’s going to be torn up soon. There is soooooooooo much dirt and mud it’s not pretty. I will not cry, I will not cry…. I will thank my lucky stars that I didn’t put in new floors last year. Yep, that’s what I’ll do. Thanks to the universe for old cruddy floors.
I’m writing this just to keep a kind of journal and to let some of the friends see what’s up. As soon as I can locate my other cards for the camera I will take some pics of a few sewing things I’ve been up to. In the meantime, building photos are all I’ve got for you. Thanks for checking in.

Yea! Looks like progress is being made. I'm sure it's chaos being in the middle of such a big renovation/building project but just keep thinking of the end result and how much you'll enjoy it.
Seems strange to see foundations like that. In California, all we have are concrete slabs. Earthquakes, I guess.
Oh, how exciting!!!
It will be so wonderful!. Each step brings that lovely couple and one lovely furgrandkid closer and closer to your heart..figuratively and literally!
