Little wooden artist- for Janet

What??? two posts in one day, what does she do with her time???? Not a lot today-yay!!!
Janet left me a comment that asked to see the wooden-soldier-artist my husband gave me years ago-it's a favorite of mine and I'm tempted to keep him out all the time except I get such joy from unwrapping him once a year. It's small & so hard to get a good shot so pardon my pic. Click for a larger shot but pardon my dust. Just warning you.

Oh, thank you for posting this photo....he is wonderful! I agree that sometimes it's nice to look at something year 'round but I also like the fun of "discovering" everything once a year at Christmastime.

And don't worry about the dust (I didn't see any!) Believe me....I'm very familiar with dust!!

Lovel your house quilt and I can see why the little artist is a favorite! Since my husband and I are antique nuts I just explain that we have antique dust.

The house quilt is wonderful! It's the perfect use of scraps, each house with it's own personality!

The tiny wooden soldier fellow is so cute! Your husband was so lucky to find something like that. I can understand why you love unwrapping it each year.
